Meet the Team Spotlight: Caeser Jimenez

 

Outside Sales Rep Caeser Jimenez joined Cutting Edge Supply in the fall of 2022, bringing more than 14 years of aggregate and material processing experience to the table with previous jobs at  Kimball Equipment and Unified Screening & Crushing.

 

“I did a lot of landscaping as a teen, but a family member brought me into Kimball, where I learned the trade and how to weld,” shared Caeser. “I was in the shop for about two years, and then I just worked my way up to deliveries and then into sales.”

 

As his role expanded, Caeser began to realize the enormity and expansive reach of the industry.

 

“As a kid in a screen shop making screens, you have no idea of how many products are involved in the aggregate world,” shared Caeser. “It’s a huge industry and really makes the world go round — roads, concrete, asphalt.  I was totally wowed once I realized that.”

 

Since coming onboard with Cutting Edge Supply and covering everything “west of the I-17” in Arizona, he’s had even more mind-blowing moments.

 

“It’s been exciting to work for a company where I can continue to leverage my past experience, but also enjoy learning something totally new and different in terms of the mining and construction side of things,” he shared. “In aggregate, loaders and haul trucks are big but once you get into the mines and you see these huge dipper buckets, it’s like ‘wow.’ You just don’t ever expect to see things like that. With the mines, there are complete towns that developed just to have a workforce for some of these operations.”

 

With each and every customer visit, Caeser is all about building long-term trust.

 

“I want customers to know that they can trust me to provide them with what they need,” he said. “I’m not going to push an upsell just to hit a number—it’s about providing them with an honest assessment of the products I think can help them improve productivity or reduce downtime.  We cover so many different parts at Cutting Edge, but even if it’s something we don’t sell, I’m happy to share recommendations— especially given my background on the crushing and screening side of things.”

 

As a self-professed Arizona sports fanatic, he’s also down for deep dive discussions around any of the local teams — Cardinals, Suns, etc., and spends most of his free time watching sports, playing golf, lifting weights and hanging with his wife and daughter.
